There are multiple forms of identification cards that a Wisconsin resident may obtain.  Either a Wisconsin state ID or a Wisconsin driver license, issued by the Wisconsin DMV, serve as an official government-issued, photo identification that can be used to prove your identity, for example, when you open a bank account or register to vote.

The Wisconsin State Law Library exists to serve the legal information needs of the officers and employees of this state, attorneys and the public by providing the highest quality of professional expertise in the selection, maintenance and use of materials, information and technology in order to facilitate equal access to the law.

WCCA was created in 1999 in response to increasing requests from district attorneys, law enforcement, and other court business partners to access court records. Businesses, members of the media, and the general public have benefited from WCCA and many have come to rely on it as their primary means of accessing circuit court data. It has steadily grown into a site receiving considerable traffic. Currently the site averages about a million data requests a day. The site also continues to generate privacy concerns.

The Vital Records Section of the Register of Deeds Office maintains copies of all birth, death, marriage, and divorce records for events that occur in Dane County. Arts for All Wisconsin offers programs in visual art, dance, music, and choir for children and adults with and without disabilities. We practice person-centered care, emphasizing individuals' autonomy in making choices to fulfill their goals and needs. Additionally, we work with artists with disabilities to help them sell and display their art, creating space for them to professionalize their artistic endeavors. Annually, we hold calls for art, including our Creative Power Call for Art, encouraging Wisconsin artists with disabilities to share their creative power with their communitie

Services & Appointments

• In-Person Visits: While some services allow for walk-ins, it is highly recommended to schedule an appointment by calling the local office or the national 800 number to reduce wait times.
• Video Appointments: Eligible individuals may request a video appointment via Microsoft Teams for certain services.
